(Being Frugal) Maximize Your Coupons At Target
By Jennifer Toth,Worldwidehippies – Now that you’ve started couponing – or at least I got your interest – I’d like to share with you one store that is nationwide and you can really maximize your savings. TARGET!!
The fantastic thing about Target’s policy is that they allow shoppers to use a Target coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon for the same item. This means that you can go to Target.com and browse the grocery coupons, print one, and if you have a manufacturer’s coupon from the Sunday paper, you can use it and the Target coupon you printed on the item. This can add up to some pretty substantial savings for coupon clippers.
Another well kept secret among Target shoppers is… Target has 1000’s of items on the end of each aisle that are marked “clearance.” These are generally items that they do not advertise but want to get out of their stock. Be sure to take your coupon binder/envelope with you. I cannot recall a shopping trip to Target where I walked out with only what was on my list – I usually have double the number of items I was planning on getting – the deals on the “end caps” of each aisle are amazing. Simply put, make sure you have an extra $10 or $20 with you to take advantage of these fantastic deals.
Finding Target Coupons
You can print the Target grocery coupons from the Target website.
Target sales run Sunday through Saturday. You can also sign up to have coupons sent via text message.
For questions about using a specific coupon or for verifying Target competitors stop by the Guest Service Desk and ask to speak with the Guest Service Team Leader. Overall, Target is VERY coupon friendly.
If you still have questions after speaking you can call the Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680.
