Most likely a Homeland Security Predator Drone. It was Tennessee after-all.

From examiner.com – A Manchester, TN, witness reported watching and videotaping a bright light that appeared to change colors while a ‘loud roaring sound’ was heard and smaller white, star-like objects were ejected about 10:25 p.m. on December 5, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness first stepped outside to investigate a “loud roaring sound” and then observed the bright light.

“I saw a big, bright object cycling through every color,” the witness stated. “I immediately compared its size to the North Star and Venus. This object was bigger than any star in the sky and brighter mainly because of the brilliant colors.”

The witness then noticed that the object was emitting white light.

“A small white, star-like object shot out of it a couple of times.”

The witness reported an unusual sound associated with the object. The witness uploaded a video with the MUFON report, which was filed on December 6, 2012.

“In the video you can hear the sound pretty well. It was much louder in person. See it change shape, hover and move. I used a Nikon camera on a tripod set to manual focus. I did have to adjust the tripod a few times when the object moved.”

The object disappeared after a short period of time.

“It stayed around for about 30 to 40 minutes. I was actually videoing it for about 30 minutes, but I heard it a few minutes before that so I am guessing 40 minutes total. I went back out and checked and the object and the sound was gone. Just before this happened, I heard a booming sound in the distance. Not sure if that had anything to do with what I witnessed.”

The above quotes were edited for clarity. Manchester is a city in Coffee County, TN, population 8,294.

Tennessee is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a higher than average number of UFO sightings nationally. Tennessee had 16 reports in November 2012 – the 11th highest reporting state while California had 53 reports – the highest reporting state in the nation. Read more…
